Here at FOR GOOD, we are dedicated to harnessing the power of exceptional art to inspire hope, compel action and ignite lasting impact FOR GOOD. That’s why we are so passionate about our latest project – Mully.
Mully is the true story of Charles Mulli who was born in Kenya and abandoned at the age of six. Somehow this amazing 6-year old not only raised himself on Kenya’s poverty-stricken streets, but also raised himself up from destitution to become a man of considerable power and wealth. He and his wife, Esther, went on to create the “World’s Largest Family.” Mully’s story is nothing short of extraordinary.
Mully made his way to Nairobi where he was able to start earning some money as an adolescent. He scrupulously saved his money and used it to purchase a van and start a taxi service. Over time, that first van became a fleet and a company known as Mullyways. Mully then expanded into real estate, insurance and other ventures. But Mully’s incredible rise to wealth left him questioning the meaning of life. And so, this selfless man decided to use his wealth and success to help orphaned children in Kenya; opening his home to shelter the homeless.
Today, Mully Children’s Family (MCF) is caring for 3,000 children and has successfully reintegrated 12,000 more – “the world’s largest family.” In total, Mully has reached 670,000 youths through his leadership and mentorship programs and is truly one of the world’s most inspiring humanitarians.
